Hydraulic trailer weighing

Know every load.

A practical trailer weighing system that uses the tipping hydraulics and trailer angle to estimate load weight, then makes those weights useful on your iPhone.

Built around the job

Useful weighing without adding another job to harvest.

Trailer Weigher is being designed to fit into the normal tipping process and keep the result useful after the trailer is empty.

Weigh as you tip

Hydraulic pressure is measured while the trailer body is raised, rather than requiring a separate weighbridge visit for every load.

Measure the body angle

A trailer-mounted Angle Sensor gives the system a repeatable reference as the hydraulic geometry changes through the tip.

Trailer-specific calibration

Each trailer can have its own calibration so the calculation reflects that trailer's hydraulic setup rather than assuming every trailer is identical.

Keep useful records

Save finished loads and build running totals by trailer, field, farm and storage location in the Trailer Weigher app.

Main hardware

Trailer Weigher Main Box

Reads the pressure signal, receives the trailer angle and runs the trailer-specific calculation locally.

Trailer Weigher Angle Sensor with the current Trailer Weigher product label.

Trailer-mounted sensor

Trailer Weigher Angle Sensor

Stays mounted on the trailer and gives the system a repeatable body-angle reference during tipping.

How it works

Pressure + angle + calibration.

The system combines measurements from the trailer with its own calibration, then sends the result to the iPhone app.

01

Pressure Sensor

Connects into the trailer tipping circuit and measures hydraulic pressure as the body is raised.

02

Angle Sensor

Stays mounted on the trailer and sends pitch and roll information wirelessly to the Main Box.

03

Main Box

Combines pressure and angle with that trailer's calibration to calculate the estimated load locally.

04

Trailer Weigher app

Shows the live weight and lets you save loads so field, farm and storage totals build as you work.

More than a number

Turn each load into a useful record.

The Trailer Weigher app is being built around the information you actually need during harvest: the current load, where it came from and where it went.

  • Live trailer weight on iPhone
  • Save loads against a field, farm or storage location
  • Running tonnage totals
  • Trailer-specific setup and calibration
  • Optional shared records through iCloud
